Lion of Judah Pentecostal Ministries Inc. Usher Board ministry was organized in 2001 under the leadership of Sister Charlotte Cox.  We are committed servants of the Lord, attending Sunday School, Bible Study and Sunday Services.  We support the Pastor's vision and mission for the church and continue to develop in the areas of the five "T" qualities:

Our Purpose

To be Doorkeepers, to cheerfully serve the congregation, to help set the spiritual tone and readiness for learning and worshipping during the service by greeting, seating, and attending to the special needs of the people who enter into the house of the Lord.  To perform all assigned usher duties as a helper in the ministry of the body of Christ.

Requirements/Qualifications

Ushers must be of good moral character, willing to serve, neat in appearance and dress, with a positive attitude and the ability to meet, greet, and make worshippers feel welcome to the service. Ushers must be at least 12 years of age or older and able to stand for long periods of time, to assist with set-up and clean-up in the sanctuary before and after all services.  Ushers must have a love and concern for the overall care of God’s people.
